"Listen to your heart, it will lead you places no one else can, on a road that's yours only; stop along that road to hold someone's hand or to embrace others.
That's how you map new territories". Oana
Inner Spaces
Welcome to some of my projects, started along time for various reasons, mostly "a call of the heart".

Life Forms :)
- On Fun Vacation on Planet Earth
A project across generations, that started in my nephew's baby room when he was born, and ended in a children's book with poems written by my beloved uncle.

Searching for Inner Life
- My Soul Was Talking to Me, but My Listening Device Was Broken
I started drawing in grad school, out of nowhere. Took me a long time to figure out that these drawings were going to be my instruction manual for the next couple of decades!

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
William Blake - Auguries of Innocence

Flowers to Poems
This is a project I started during the pandemic with my mother, a civil engineer by training, who still remembers and recites beautifully poems she learned in high school!
I asked whether any of my photography would inspire her to actually write her own poems, and I was amazed to discover in her a facet of tenderness and artistic talent she never expressed before. Never too late.
(the English translation is mine)

But this is also a project to encourage environmental education and honor all nature, its uses and remarkable beauty that so often go unnoticed, or have been forgotten.

Children stories
- for the children in adults too!
Who said scientists aren't silly! Science is all about curiosity and playfulness and creativity, anyway.
Admittedly the model of the atom is out of date, but if you like plays on words and would like a copy of the stories, a short list is here:
1. The Adventures of Electron
2. The Little Star
3. The Christmas Present
4. The Tree of Truth
5. The Afternoon Nap
6. The Windows of the Glassmaker
